A side note here: Indians love car horns. They think the sound is just so fabulous and cheery that they like to share it with others every few feet. It's not aggressive like in the US, it's more like "toot-toot! HI, I'm right here", "toot, I'm coming along side you", "toot toot, you are along side me!", etc. I've been in some scary cab rides but the one back from the airport was pretty stimulating. At 1:30 am, the streets are still filled and people just walk in the street. And little cabs just swoop in and out, tooting their horns every few feet.
